Aufgrund von unvorhergesehenen vertragsrechtlichen Fragen in Bezug auf 2 der für die Agalloch geplanten Alben, die außerhalb unseres Einflußbereiches lagen, waren wir bis Anfang dieser Woche, seit Beginn des Anbietens der preorder nicht befugt die Alben zu pressen.

Es mussten rechtliche Fragen zunächst geklärt werden, mit denen wir vor Beginn nicht gerechnet haben.

Dadurch erhalten wir erst kommende Woche die test pressings der beiden betroffenen Alben, wodurch sich der Versand der Alben um 3 Wochen verzögert.

Es tut uns sehr, sehr leid, sind aber gleichzeitig froh, dass diese Veröffentlichung letzten Endes statt finden wird.

Wir halten Euch auf dem Laufenden und werden Euch mit Fotos “füttern”.

Due to unforeseen legal questions we hadn’t been allowed to press two of the albums who were supposed to be part of the Agalloch Box from the date of the beginning of the preorder. There was nothing we could do about it at this point.

Now everything is clear and the testings of the two missing albums are going to be here next week.

For this reason, the shipment of the Agalloch box is not going to start before the week of June 21st.
We highly apologize -  but are happy that this box finally can happen.

It’s worth it!

we’re very sorry but the test pressings of the God Is An Astronaut LP hadn’t been approved and it now takes ages to get them done at the pressing plant what is annoying to all of us.

Also – the Der Weg Einer Freiheit ltd. covers still didn’t arrive.

2. The Ocean to play special set

The Ocean will play a special +70 minutes set premiering their new album “Heliocentric” and featuring an extended lineup with various extra guest musicians. This will also be filmed for a later DVD release on Metal Blade Records.

3. Cynic cancellation
Cynic have cancelled their appearance at Friction Fest.
This is what the band has to say about their cancellation:

“Our apologies for not being able to perform at Friction Fest. Logistics and the stars weren’t lining up for us this time, but we’ll be back in Europe for some shows in June and a possible longer run in the fall, so stay tuned.”

Being aware of the fact that Cynic cannot easily be replaced, we decided not to add another substitute band.

As you already know DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT rerecorded their drums and guitars. Very soon you will be able to listen to a couple of their new tracks – on top the band recorded a new bonus track called “RUHE”.
Apart from that here you can see their revised artwork (by Sperber Illustrationen).

There’s going to be a handnumbered ltd.200 CD Version which contains an alternate layout, the new album version plus a copy of the original demo version.
