PROFUNDI was born as a result of my well over a decade of total dedication and fascination of the extreme metal scene. PROFUNDI can be seen as a product of my experiences of all these years, the things I've learned, the mistakes I've done, the successes I've shared... all this is pieces of what PROFUNDI has become to be all about.
After numerous of recordings and countless live-performances, it was with pride I left my previous musical constillations and projects, and out of the ashes rose PROFUNDI, a one-man army in which I can combine my sole visions with the underground scene in which my soul still belongs. A combination of going back to my roots, but still exploring new creative areas.
Inspired by the do-it-yourself culture, PROFUNDI is a one-man project down to every single aspect. Not just speaking of usual song compositions or the handle of musical instruments, no but also speaking of recording and mixing techniques, artwork and design skills and etcetera. Wherever there's room for creativity or individuality, I'll always strive to be there and leave my mark and so creating something more than just a PROFUNDI-'sound', no, more like a PROFUNDI-'way'. A unit of audio, design, artwork, words and all other expressions that together form the mark that I consider to be a part of the PROFUNDI concept.
To the bottom line, that's what PROFUNDI is all about, it's ME. This is my songs, my music, my words, my sound, my creativity, my fury, my pain, my madness...
This is MY vision of extreme music... PROFUNDI.
